Call Barring allows you to prevent access to specific numbers or groups of numbers from their line, or to prevent the use of some or all Call Service access codes. 

In particular, you may want to enable Call Barring if you VP3500 Phone System supports PBX subscribers, because the Call Services configuration applies to all users of the PBX.  Call Barring allows you to prevent PBX users from using access codes that change the Call Services configuration.
