Acceptable Use Policy
Effective January 1,
2008, Verizon -
This increase affects services such as residential and business lines, custom
calling services and local usage. GTB remains committed to providing affordable
voice and advanced broadband service, at reduced pricing. For customers who
receive services provided over the Verizon network, GTB will continue to offer
pricing at 5% below the Verizon retail tariffed rate.
This will apply ONLY to those services provided over the Verizon
network.
The effective date of this increase for GTB customers will be March
1, 2008.
As an example, your GTB Business resale line rate(s), prior to March 1, 2008,
were either $14.11 or $16.44. The new rate(s) will be
$14.53 or $16.90. Please note that these rates still remain below the Verizon
retail rates. Refer to the back of this letter for additional rate information.
This is the Third Verizon increase in three (3) years. Since we cannot predict
if there will be future increases, we encourage all our customers to consider migrating their service off the Verizon platform and on to
the GTB network. GTB has spent the last several years designing a state-of-the
art network that provides the latest access technology for advanced voice, data
and customer-managed services. We offer many competitive pricing plans that
bundle voice and data with a suite of products such as: calling features,
expanded local calling, firewall protection, network monitoring, remote data
back-up and phone systems.
