Broadband Internet Access with Speeds as High as 10mbps

GTB announces expanded telecom services -- broadband Internet access with speeds as high as 10mbps and a highly effective remote computer backup system.

Owings Mills, MD 3/15/2007 -- GTB has announced the rollout of two new telecommunication services -"super-charged", high speed Internet access and remote computer backup services. GTB is responding to the business community’s ongoing demand for higher Internet speeds. The need for increased speed is due to the many applications that require broadband connections. To meet these needs, GTB is using state-of-the-art technologies - including ADSL2+, ADSL2+ bonded, EFM and bonded EFM - that support speeds as high as 10MB per second.

Remote Backup Service is another program that GTB is now providing. Computer data loss presents a very big risk to any business. GTB’s RBS provides customers with special software that backs-up their system to an offsite location, and then automatically updates the backup file daily. For security reasons, all backed-up data is encrypted before it leaves the customer’s computer. In the event of data loss, the program allows customers to restore their backed-up files online. Customers can also receive a customized disaster recovery plan designed specifically for their company’s individual needs.
