Global Telecom Brokers announces new voice and data applications

GTB - Owings Mills, MD  11/9/2006 -- Owings Mills, MD - GTB has announced the introduction of new telecommunication products intended to increase voice and data efficiency. Due to increasing demand for higher Internet speeds, GTB has rolled a bundle of T1 circuits that combines voice and data as one service, allowing up to 6MB upload and download speeds to/from the Internet. In addition, by using multiple T1 circuits, the new service improves the redundancy of the voice and data service, enabling continued service even if one of the bundled circuits fails. The new service combines high-speed data with analog voice lines and or PRI/CAS T1 interface. In addition to a connection to the Internet, the new product allows companies to establish a VPN connection between locations using MPLS technology and enhanced network security.



Another new service currently being deployed is named FaxtuMail. The FaxtuMail service provides a private fax number that accepts incoming facsimile transmissions. Documents that are received by the FaxtuMail service are immediately converted to a PDF file and sent to the user via their personal email. The new service targets business travelers as well as users who prefer not to have their faxes sent to a general company fax machine.



GTB has also introduced a service allowing users to have their calls follow them as they travel. These calls can be sent to other locations or devices, such as cell phones or voice mail, and can be sent to one location/device at a time or multiple locations/devices at the same time.
