GTB completes network deployment in the Baltimore area

Owings Mills, MD  9/10/2004 -- Global Telecom Brokers (GTB) announced today the completion of network deployment in the Baltimore area. The project is part of a Maryland statewide installation of a managed network. The enhanced application establishes a voice and data network between 10 centers in the Baltimore area.

GTB uses the ILEC’s (Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier) central offices to place state of the art access equipment. Customers in the Baltimore area can now enjoy services over T1 and SHDSL lines. Using a managed network allows GTB to provide digital voice quality and high speed Internet service over one circuit. In addition, quality of service control enables the use variety of data applications. GTB intends to finish full state deployment in Maryland before the end first quarter next year.
